The Mthunzi Network
The Mthunzi Network was initiated by the South African Council of Churches and provided a scalable digital aid solution in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Mthunzi Network leveraged LUNOS to distribute the aid while carefully accounting for the cash flows. This enabled proper oversight and governance of the cash flows involved in allocating vouchers to beneficiaries and distribution via multiple distribution channels.
We collaborated with GLU.global. to design and develop the full IT solution for The Mthunzi Network on Amazon’s AWS cloud services. This design, and the choice for running LUNOS on cloud infrastructure, provided elastic scalability to Mthunzi.
